2016 was such an amazing year. I was 14 at the time, just barely old enough to be politically conscious, and Donald Trump was my introduction to politics. The past 10 years have had their highs and lows, and I’ve been frustrated with his leadership at times, but it’s been an absolutely incredible journey. From joke candidate, to Republican nominee, to President, to disgraced former President and felon, to assassination survivor, to President again. Donald Trump has the most incredible story of any president in a very long time, and witnessing it start-to-finish at a young age has been a defining part of my life and political development.
