compleX Group Interactions (XGI) is a python package that provides an ecosystem for the analysis and representation of complex systems with group interactions.
Excited to be at @ConfCompSys this week!
Our awesome @maximelca will give a talk abt XGI today at 14:45 in Room12, at the Software and Data for Complex Systems satellite. Thanks @narnolddd for the invite.
@maximelca@iacopoiacopini and @lordgrilo are in Exeter, come chat!
Hey there! We're excited to be heading to @netsci2023 next week!
🎙️ Our awesome @nwlandry will be rocking the stage on Wednesday, July 12th at 12:45 in the Audimax, talking about XGI, our Python library!
🤝 Come hang out and chat with us!
Don't miss tomorrow's first ever software-focused @NetSciConf satellite and school, with presentations on various network analysis packages in the morning and tutorials in the afternoon! Schedule at https://t.co/xvbaf2ACnX
XGI in the wild: Bell Luo, student of @PhilChodrow, presenting his awesome thesis on sampling from the hypergraph configuration model. Congrats, Bell!! Great work!
#TopoNetX builds on top of the excellent NetworkX, HyperNetX and XGI to provide elementary computations on topological domains, such as adding a higher-order cell to a combinatorial complex.

Want to code your 1st topological neural net, and leverage higher-order structure from your dataset?🍩🤖
Try #TopoX, a suite of 3 Python packages for machine learning and deep learning on hypergraphs, simplicial, cellular, path and combinatorial complexes🌟
@PyT_Team_
Want a feature/dataset that you don’t see listed here? Just give us a shout, and we will do our best to make it a reality! As always, contributions are always welcome!
X-mas has come early this year for XGI-ers! 🎅
We're excited to announce **massive changes** to our documentation, datasets, and functionality!
This follows our latest poll (below): see thread below for details 👇🧵
📊 Data
Finally, we've almost **doubled** the number of higher-order datasets that XGI offers (24)!
Also, we now have a summary table of the network statistics (https://t.co/IO6cKiA8Ul) so you can quickly find a dataset that meets your needs.
Thanks @nwlandry for this!
This already gets interesting for identical phase oscillators on a ring structure.
For pairwise couplings, we know this ring supports twisted states: spatial sync states where the phases make q full twists around the ring. Full sync is q=0.
These are stable up to a given q.

That's it for now.
We already have more tutorials, recipes, and drawing features in the pipes for the next one1
What else would like to see? Let us know!

@KesterRatcliff That sounds interesting. It seems too broad of a question to be covered by our tutorials which are more implementation-based. We'd be happy to chat about your ideas if you're interested.
