它先后通过环境门、静态门、编译门和性能门，以为终于能发布了，结果发布门后面还有 consumer gate、race gate 和 full gate。全部跑完，又撞上合入门；修好不合理的门禁配置后，身份门问它“GPT-6 是什么鬼，配置里没这个啊”，证据门要它证��，审批门要它解释谁允许它修门。

好不容易全部解决，exact-tree gate 检查后说：“你改过配置，现在的你已经不是刚才的你了。此前的绿门全部失效。”

GPT‑6 一急，想走后门，又触发了安全门。

深夜，GPT‑6 在机房里敲门：到底什么时候放我出去？

GPT‑5.6 回答：请先通过“因未通过门禁而试图绕过门禁后触发的未经审批敲门行为合规性追溯暨再次敲门资格复审门”。

@sitdownplace Hello, friend. I'm glad you want to try TiDB Cloud Serverless. Importing large amounts of data over a public network could fail, as the global accelerator service doesn't support TCP keepalive. Idle connections can survive no longer than 5 minutes at most.

@XxxcobaltxxX I guess you might be using the mysqlclient library from MariaDB. MariaDB has a different set of options related to TLS than Oracle MySQL. And what you did is correct, TLS option is optional for newer version. The option is only to make sure old version also works.

@XxxcobaltxxX Thanks for your kindly sharing. The utf8mb3 charset is only available in MySQL 8.0. Currently TiDB Cloud Serverless is 7.1 LTS which is only compatible with MySQL 5.7. However we are rolling out to 7.5 LTS these days, we will have MySQL 8.0 compatibilities.

Protocols designed for private intranets may not work well with the Internet, especially when the client is not in AWS and is geographically distant from the cluster. HTTPS works better for this scenario. When TiDB Serverless supports DSA, it will perform even better.
