We strongly urge all infringing video creators and hosting platforms to immediately cease all infringing activities, and to fully remove and permanently delete all such synthesized visual and audio content.

After finishing the entire drama, I wanted to write a proper review to share my thoughts. Since I liked it very much, it will be a bit long.
After watching it, I tried to classify the show as either a “group/ensemble drama” or a “strong female lead drama,” but it was really difficult. Shining Like Stars achieves the extreme — and extremely well — on both sides.
There’s no need to say much about the ensemble cast. Viewers who have watched it can simply close their eyes and go through every character’s face in their mind. See if they’re all clear. Adults often say that as you grow up, the road ahead will become wider. Yet the truth is that anxiety, confusion, pain, hesitation, life’s greatest hardships, and the constant struggle between right and wrong are all narrow paths that no one can truly avoid.

Real life is bitter and long. Even if you persevere until the very end, things may not always turn out the way you hoped.

So if one day you feel the need to run away for a while, that’s okay.

But what I have always hoped for is that you will have freedom of thought and an independent spirit. Learn how to live, make peace with yourselves, discover what you truly love, and have the courage to pursue it.

May you always have the courage to fight against the cowardice within human nature. May that courage help you find a glimmer of hope in the midst of despair, give you the strength to understand yourselves, and eventually become the person you have always dreamed of being.

In the interview, #EstherYu said the biggest thing she learned from #LinWanxing was to “let herself slow down” and take a step back to see things more clearly. She also talked about how facing your own fears and pain is actually a brave thing to do.

She mentioned a few scenes in the drama where she had no lines at all, like writing in her diary at night, or just staring out the window. Without words, she had to show Lin Wanxing’s inner world through tiny changes in emotion and really expressive facial expressions. And honestly, she nailed it!😇😇
