to cdrama stantwt, it seems that everyone else’s mental health matters until it comes to ysx. somehow, it’s acceptable when she’s the one being targeted with false narratives, relentless hate, and discrimination. but the moment her fans push back and give people a taste of their own medicine, suddenly mental health becomes the concern. is it because you perceive her as outgoing and resilient that you assume she’s unaffected by the constant scrutiny? or have you simply become so comfortable demeaning and vilifying her that you’ve stopped recognizing the double standard? at some point, you have to ask yourselves whether you’ve been conditioned by the endless stream of coordinated hate and fabricated narratives spread by paid individuals and trolls who seem intent on tearing her down across international platforms.
Yu Shuxin's Studio has issued a formal statement.
Recently, a large number of unauthorized AI-generated videos and short dramas have been circulating online, using deepfake technology to extract and replicate Ms. Yu Shuxin's facial features and voice without permission.
In response to these unlawful practices disguised as technological innovation, the studio hereby makes the following clear statement:
1. Ms. Yu Shuxin has never participated in the filming or recording of any such AI-generated content, nor has our studio ever granted any organization, platform, or individual authorization to use Ms. Yu Shuxin's likeness or voice for AI purposes. All AI-synthesized videos and short dramas that forcibly impose her image and voice are illegal infringements.
2. Both likeness and voice are core personal rights strictly protected by law. Such misuse of AI technology – "cutting and pasting" to create forged content – has seriously crossed legal boundaries. We strongly urge all infringing video creators and hosting platforms to immediately cease all infringing activities, and to fully remove and permanently delete all such synthesized visual and audio content.
We have already collected and preserved comprehensive evidence regarding the infringing content in circulation. For any party that ignores this statement, attempts to evade responsibility, or refuses to delete the infringing content, we will pursue legal action to resolutely defend Ms. Yu Shuxin's lawful rights and interests.
We also strongly urge the public to actively resist all forms of illegal AI-generated infringing content – do not view or share such forged material. Together, let's stand against AI infringement and help build an online environment that respects the rights to both likeness and voice.

160726 Dongli Wuyou posted his farewell message to #RoadToSuccess on Weibo. He was 16 years old when he acted in the drama and called it the biggest gift. Here’s an excerpt:
“The first time I met Teacher Xiaolin (wow, such a beautiful and cute older sister) and the first time I met the coach (his physique is amazing, total male god level). After spending time together, Sister and Fa Ge became our good teachers and good friends both on and off screen. They gave us so much help and encouragement.
Sister often helped us find the essence of group scenes and created many interesting iconic moments. In our emotional scenes, Fa Ge always gave us strong acting cues so that everyone could keep up. Sister frequently took us to film Douyin videos (everyone could jump in for some content, haha), bought us delicious drinks and snacks, treated us to big meals, and even gave us cute Waku Waku gifts. Privately, Fa Ge treated us like brothers — he invited us to dinners and would often come to our lounge to join our ‘team internal competitions.’ He actually has some real skills.
After the show started airing, led by Sister (the publicity genius), Fa Ge, all the brothers, and the entire creative team pulled together as one. Everyone put their heart into promoting our work, hoping that more viewers would discover Shining Like Stars and fall in love with it.”
Dong Li Wu You (Chen Jianghe talked about Yu Shuxin in his post)
“Jiejie, our little PR genius. The first time I met Xiaolin laoshi, my first thought was, “Wow, she’s so beautiful and so adorable.” After getting to know her, she became both a wonderful mentor and a great friend to all of us, on and off set. She gave us so much help and encouragement. She was always helping us figure out the best parts of our group scenes, creating so many memorable and interesting moments. She often brought us along to film Douyin videos (so everyone got to join in and dance, haha), bought delicious food and drinks for the entire cast and crew, treated us to big meals, and even gave us those cute plushies.

As Chen Jingke bids farewell to his character Wang Fa, he also mentioned Yu Shuxin in his post and shared a new photo of Xiaolin laoshi and Wang jiaolian 🥹
“I also want to thank our adorable, brilliant, and loyal Xiaolin laoshi.
While filming, your energy naturally lifted everyone around you. On screen, you were Xiaolin laoshi, with her healing magic. Off screen, you were Xinxinzi, the one who effortlessly helped the kids break the ice and become one big family. After long hours under the scorching sun, we’d always hear your familiar voice saying, “Everyone, come have some water!” And every time I turned around, there you were, the Shining Star Genius herself.
Thank you for helping me learn to open up more during this journey, to express my thoughts more freely and to experience countless firsts. From now on, I’ll also try to become a little more “trendy” and follow Xiaolin laoshi’s example. 🫡 (Though, if you ever feel tired, remember it’s okay to take a break. We can all “cheat” a little and choose ourselves as many times as we need.)”

China Art Newspaper, a state-affiliated national arts newspaper in China, under the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, featured Road To Success on their website. ✨
“The recently concluded TV drama Road to Success has received widespread acclaim. It tells the story of Lin Wanxing, a teacher who walks into students’ lives with warmth and sincerity, helping them grow while also finding healing herself. Rather than relying on dramatic twists, the drama moves audiences through genuine emotions. Road to Success uses the teacher-student relationship, adolescent growth, and adults’ self-healing as intertwined themes, presenting a moving narrative that reveals the essence of education. It isn’t just a tribute to teachers, it’s also a heartfelt ode to youth.”
“Ultimately, Road to Success is more than just a coming-of-age drama or a story about campus life. It offers a profound reflection on the meaning of education. Every teacher is a guide, every student is a shining star waiting to be discovered. With sincere storytelling, the drama reminds us that education is not merely about imparting knowledge, but about igniting lives, nurturing hope, and allowing every young person to find their own light.”

A Letter from Lin Wanxing to Wang Fa ❤️🫶🏻
Good evening, Wang Fa.
I’ve never recorded anything like this before, so I’m a little embarrassed.
First of all, thank you so much for being here during this time, and thank you for everything you’ve done for the players.
To you, these players may have just been people you happened to meet by chance.
It was as if you simply rescued a drowning kitten, picked it up, and gently helped it dry off.
But Wang Fa, do you know?
For a little kitten, being able to bask in the warmth of the sun is one of the happiest and safest feelings in its entire life.
Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart.

#RoadToSuccess review from someone who watched Xin Xin's drama for the first time 🤗
Part 1/5
After finishing the entire drama, I wanted to write a proper review to share my thoughts. Since I liked it very much, it will be a bit long.
After watching it, I tried to classify the show as either a “group/ensemble drama” or a “strong female lead drama,” but it was really difficult. Shining Like Stars achieves the extreme — and extremely well — on both sides.
There’s no need to say much about the ensemble cast. Viewers who have watched it can simply close their eyes and go through every character’s face in their mind. See if they’re all clear. Then put those faces together — do they shine with the same kind of light? The answer is already clear in every audience member’s mind. Feel free to share it in the comments later.

#RoadtoSuccess Weibo Update
To My Students,
Last year, I began teaching at Hongjing No. 8 High School. As I stood at the entrance of the equipment room for the very first time, I never imagined that one day I would become so deeply involved in someone else’s journey through life.
At that time, I was trapped in the darkest period of my own life. I realized that the hardest enemy to overcome was never someone else—it was the struggles within my own heart.
Like everyone else, I hoped to witness the rise of an underdog who could overcome every obstacle. I also hoped to find a reason to keep moving forward through your stories.
As time went by, I came to realize that the hardest part of life is not finding the courage to begin a journey, but having the determination to keep going until the very end. The greatest pain is not enduring after a fall, but choosing the path that stays true to your conscience after questioning yourself over and over again.
That was when I understood that education is never simply about a teacher guiding students. It is about teachers and students helping one another, encouraging one another, and growing together.
The Olympic spirit tells us to be Faster, Higher, Stronger. But you taught me something even more meaningful—that as our bodies are tested, our will is challenged, and our hearts endure suffering, the human spirit becomes broader and stronger.
Adults often say that as you grow up, the road ahead will become wider. Yet the truth is that anxiety, confusion, pain, hesitation, life’s greatest hardships, and the constant struggle between right and wrong are all narrow paths that no one can truly avoid.
Real life is bitter and long. Even if you persevere until the very end, things may not always turn out the way you hoped.
So if one day you feel the need to run away for a while, that’s okay.
But what I have always hoped for is that you will have freedom of thought and an independent spirit. Learn how to live, make peace with yourselves, discover what you truly love, and have the courage to pursue it.
May you always have the courage to fight against the cowardice within human nature. May that courage help you find a glimmer of hope in the midst of despair, give you the strength to understand yourselves, and eventually become the person you have always dreamed of being.
And more than anything, I hope that I, too, can become the person I have always hoped to be.
Perhaps you no longer need to read these words now. But on the day you graduate, I still want to leave you with one blessing.
May the road ahead no longer feel as narrow as it does today. May you never be afraid of walking life’s narrow paths, because in the end, you will find your light. ✨

Xiaolin laoshi, how can I stay true to my dreams while dealing with the challenges of real life? 😭
Xiaolin laoshi’s Healing Room”:
“Your dreams are like a lighthouse guiding you from afar, while reality is the path beneath your feet. Focus on taking one steady step at a time. When you finally look up, you’ll see that your dreams have been there, waiting for you all along.”

⸻
“To My Students”
Last year, when I stepped into Hongjing High School, as I stood at the entrance of the equipment room, I never imagined that I would become so deeply involved in your lives.
At that time, I was trapped by my own fate, lost in the darkest valley of my life.
Like everyone else, I longed to see the dawn after darkness.
And through your stories, I hoped to find the strength to keep going.
Later, I realized…
The hardest part of life is not making the decision to climb the mountain.
The hardest part is holding on to that determination every single day.
Life’s greatest challenge isn’t gritting your teeth after falling.
It’s having the courage to choose the path that lets you face yourself with a clear conscience.
As I helped each of you along your journey,
you, in turn, helped me.
Olympic champion Su Bingtian once said:
“Run faster, run higher, run stronger.”
And you taught me something too:
Pushing your body to its limits,
forging your will,
and strengthening your soul,
these are all born in hardship.
Adults often say:
“When you grow up, you’ll realize that life only gets harder.”
Perhaps that’s true.
Anxiety, confusion, pain, regret, and overwhelming hardship…
They have always been lonely roads that only a few people can truly walk.
Life is long.
Not everyone reaches the vast ocean or the open sky they dream of.
So… it’s okay to lose your way sometimes.
⸻
But I still hope…
That each of you will grow into someone with freedom of thought and an independent spirit.
I hope you learn to truly live,
embrace who you are,
discover what you love,
and have the courage to chase it.
I hope you never stop fighting against the ordinary,
remaining full of courage,
just as you once gave me hope,
and helped me find my own light.
More than anything…
I hope that one day,
I can become the person I once wished to become.
⸻
Now…
You no longer need these words from me.
But after graduation,
I still sincerely wish you this:
May your future never lose its way.
May there always be light waiting for you.

something about yu shuxin and lin wanxing both being incredibly close to their grandpas, and how they each had to endure an overwhelming wave of false narratives that almost buried all the hard work they poured into their careers. yet despite everything, they refused to let those lies define them. maybe that’s why shuxin understood lin wanxing so deeply and brought her to life with so much sincerity. and just like lin wanxing, i know shuxin’s path ahead is just as bright. no amount of noise can outshine someone who continues to move forward with kindness, resilience, and unwavering faith in herself.

Huge thanks to China Daily for writing about #RoadtoSuccess! The state media praised the show - a football story about growing up - a global hit.💗💗💗

In the interview, #EstherYu said the biggest thing she learned from #LinWanxing was to “let herself slow down” and take a step back to see things more clearly. She also talked about how facing your own fears and pain is actually a brave thing to do.
She mentioned a few scenes in the drama where she had no lines at all, like writing in her diary at night, or just staring out the window. Without words, she had to show Lin Wanxing’s inner world through tiny changes in emotion and really expressive facial expressions. And honestly, she nailed it!😇😇
