Bands don’t succeed. Just statistically. So after the surprise indie success of our album Take This To Your Grave, I was sure there was no way but down from there. I was certain we couldn’t possibly match the success we’d had with that album. So I barely bothered considering it as a possibility, I just went in to write and record an album I enjoyed. I told my parents “I swear, just one more semester off and then I’ll go to college.” When “Sugar, We’re Goin Down,” premiered on MTV’s TRL I could tell that I probably wasn’t going to make it to college after all.
Happy 20th anniversary to From Under The Cork Tree, the album that changed everything. You turned it into something so much bigger than us, and for that we’re forever grateful.
We’re working on some cool things to keep the celebration going later this year, but more on that later. Here’s to the next chapter 🌳🖤.

@StarryBrand I worked for Crumbl’s corporate team and I am not joking when I tell you they had to basically take away the CEO’s phone because he was addicted to doomscrolling this subreddit. He almost fired an entire department because someone leaked a cookie lineup
