[Fe6S8(CN)6]5-. with 107 valence electrons has high-spin magnetic moment (S=7/2, theoretical μeff ≈ 7.9). The number 107 achieves half full subshell, which decides its magnetic moment. The SQUID test shows different μeff under different temperatures.

The Fe6S8(PEt3)6 n+(n=0-3) don't obey Curie-Weiss law under 20 Kelvin. Its spin magnetic moment show that there exists a mixture of low- and intermediate-spin states among the 6 iron atom. Ferromagnetic coupling happens.
