A 29-year-old Moroccan man has been arrested after stabbing two young men during a knife attack targeting two gay couples, aged 19 to 23, near a beach bar on Valencia's Malvarrosa Beach.

According to police, the suspect first searched through the group’s belongings. After realizing they were two couples, he began shouting homophobic insults, left the area, and returned minutes later carrying a kitchen knife.

He threatened all four victims while again attempting to steal their possessions. During the confrontation, he held the knife against one victim’s neck and injured him in the stomach area, while another victim suffered cuts to the face, neck, and hand.

The suspect fled across the beach with some of the victims’ belongings and discarded the knife, but Valencia Local Police officers nearby arrested him shortly afterward. The weapon was recovered.

Two victims received medical treatment for minor injuries and were reported to be in no danger. The suspect also required medical attention for injuries reportedly sustained as the victims defended themselves.

El humorista Héctor de Miguel, conocido como Quequé, fue detenido durante la pasada noche por agentes de la Policía Nacional en Salamanca debido a una reclamación judicial emitida por un juzgado de Madrid. El cómico permanece arrestado en su ciudad natal, según han confirmado fuentes de la Delegación del Gobierno en Castilla y León.

Por el momento, no han trascendido los detalles del procedimiento judicial que ha motivado la detención ni el motivo concreto de la reclamación.
