what's so tragic about it is that he was supposed to get better. he was supposed to heal and become the best version of himself, get sober and make amends but the possibility of that suddenly disappeared on a random wednesday night. there is no closure and there will never be one
say what you want about Liam but quite frankly this is another case of child stardom taking a life too soon. after one direction ended that man was not well, we could all see it. he harmed others and himself. what a fucking tragic end. he deserved so much better
I would do anything to relive the days of coming home after a day of high school and hopping on this silly little app to talk about the boys and to feel like I had a whole other family here doing the exact same thing as me 😭
people are not mourning the man liam payne became, they are mourning the man he used to be and the man they grew up with. the man that was part of something that shaped millions of peoples lives.
Maybe you don't get it but after growing up with 1D, you just kind of expect to grow old with them... they should be 80 and still jumping on stage and we should be 60-80 buying tickets to their concerts. I refuse to believe we just lost a family member at 31. Absolutely f REFUSE
One Direction was a ridiculously HUGES part of my teenage years. It's been ages since I followed the boys' news. I'll always remember Liam as the gentlest one in the group. He was this ray of sunshine who brought them all together.
Seeing all of the 1d fans logging into their old/inactive stan accounts just to pay their respects to Liam is oddly touching. One direction has an insane legacy when it comes to twitter. Those who know, know.
