It is 150th anniversary of our national song "Vande Mataram". Sadly, most Indians only know the first two stanzas but it is the imagery of subsequent stanzas that really delivers the punch. Without them, today's Indians are left wondering what the fuss is all about. For the launch of my book Revolutionaries, I had @thedhruvsanyal and @smitabarooah record a rendition of the later stanzas. Hope you like it:

Another proof of why we need to build our tech stack in India. These platforms don’t even comply with Indian laws and then even ignore court judgements!
Also, just look at Twitter’s arm twisting of the Brazilian Supreme Court.
The more we ignore and justify, more we risk.
BREAKING: Punjab government is the latest after Karnataka and Himachal, that opted for OPS and is now making its citizens carry the can for ruinous "freebie economics."
That's right the AAP run Punjab government has:
1) Approved an increase in value-added tax (VAT) of petrol and diesel prices by 61 paise and 92 paise per litre, respectively. (Remember how the I.N.D.I.A bloc says at the Centre that fuel needs to be out of GST net)
2) Punjab government has also announced the withdrawal of the Rs 3 per unit power subsidy given to consumers with loads up to 7 KW.
3) In another major decision, it raised the bus fare by 23 paise per km.
What's common between the AAP and Congress? They are both self-professed advocates of "revdis". They are both alliance partners.
@HaryanviBhrata Regressive low life "culture" which is not compatible with a modern day society, especially one in which children have protein deficiency hindering essential development...
@garbeyge@HaryanviBhrata Nope just because Urban Naxals have detached themselves from India's culture does not mean that something is outdated.....it just proves that such values were common sense even 75yrs ago.
Lol then encounters and drowning in the pond will increase.....penguins do not want to take responsibility that it is their incompetence and nepotism which has destroyed the legal system in India due to which executive is resorting to other means.
The Supreme Court on Monday (September 2) expressed the intention to lay down pan-India guidelines to address the concerns that authorities in several States are resorting to the demolition of houses of persons accused of crimes as a punitive action.

After seeing the visuals of swanky but soulless Vande Bharat sleeper, feeling nostalgic about good old days of Indian railways during Congress days when the transport carrier had a real soul and character. The entire system was designed to instil the inclusive values in our citizens and keep the middle class grounded to realities . Such beautiful memories of waiting 10 hours in queue to book tickets but still not get it , the experience of travelling in unreserved coaches squatting next to a loo that emanated an odour that one eventually reconcile to( in a way healthy as it builds immunity), filth infested stations that served as open toilets, sighting rotting corpses on the platform that taught lessons on futility of life itself , the dirty waiting rooms that kept one sensitised to poverty of the country despite Indiramma garibi hataoing, cutting edge innovations of LaLoo like earthen tea cups, near zero accidents. Such a flood of memmories.
@MrNoOne1991@milindmghosh I'm afraid the fiscal situation will only worsen....in the long run, we will be forced to increase the retirement age like France.
