idk how to verbalise this but I hate being pursued with romantic intent, especially when motivated by physical attraction. let’s be friends and allow romantic confusion to brew like some middle schooler with a crush, the way God intended true love to be.
every time you replace “this is hard” with “what’s the first step?” you shift brain activity from your amygdala (fear) to your prefrontal cortex (problem-solving).
that’s neuroplasticity in real time.
I had knee surgery as a teenager. The dr brought me a sharpie and told me to circle the correct knee and put an X on the other then he left the room. So I did exactly as instructed. Then I drew arrows to the circle and wrote "Operate here" and drew more Xs on the other leg and wrote "Do not touch". I sat there bored for another 30 minutes writing random stuff all over my body like "You can't have my appendix" and "Why are you looking up here? Focus on the knee". I even had my mom write on my back something like "If you can read this, wrong side. Flip me over."
Then I covered up with the sheet and the anesthesiologist showed up. I was told that I said some weird stuff while I was going under, but that is a different story. The surgery went fine, I had to stay in the hospital overnight.
When the dr came into my room to check on me, he said that I had thrown off their schedule because when they uncovered me and saw all of the notes that they laughed for 10 minutes.
When they finally got their composure, they rolled me up on my side to get me onto the operating table and saw the note on my back and lost it again. He said that the surgery started about 30 minutes later than it was supposed to thanks to my drawings and notes.
You receive: one delicious plate of peanut butter
I receive: nothing, you are getting a plate of peanut butter because I love you and only that reason, don't turn around or look down or look at your paws or pay attention to any noise
Not everyone who makes these posts is saying that whoever has that job is beneath them. I think it’s perfectly normal to be annoyed that you don’t have a job in the field you spent tens of thousands of dollars becoming accredited in. It’s not always a declaration of superiority.
If you’re dating someone with ADHD, you’ve probably had at least THREE of these “fights”:
1. “You don’t listen to me” (they actually did… their brain just didn’t store it right)
2. “Why do you always forget?” (not carelessness - working memory glitch)
3. “You were fine yesterday, what changed?” (energy crash hit without warning)
4. “You said you’d do it” (they meant it… then time disappeared)
5. “You’re always distracted” (their attention doesn’t stay parked in one place)
It’s not lack of love. It’s a different kind of brain wiring trying its best in a linear-world expectation.
Lots of people get into relationships for the wrong reasons for example I just found myself thinking “if I had a boyfriend to cook for I’d generate twice as many vegetable scraps to feed my worms and they’d produce double the compost”
Since a lot of people dont understand the difference.
Not all AI is bad, because not all AI is generative AI.
A game (like alien isolation for example) having an AI based algorithm so a monster can track your movement isnt GENERATIVE AI
WE ONLY DISLIKE GENERATIVE AI.
