Initially I just wanted to polish a shader I did last year, the result is from far that I believe is the best looking Shadertoy I made so far.
Just a quick post today to say that I finally had time to debug the issue on Mac and Linux with my EarthMeshHoudini plugin (https://t.co/08x2UfiFXS), which allows downloading world meshes from Google Earth directly in Houdini.
As suggested by Someone I created a XR Pane. The idea is to cast the Blender screen onto a VR display, replacing the standard flat "3D viewport" with a true 3D view of the object in XR. It's more of a proof of concept than anything, code:

This is the Meta Quest version of MeshSync, which now also supports Blender. Since, it's not possible to cast your PC screen and run applications on the Meta Quest, I had to integrate screen sharing directly into my app.

You probably saw my Houdini to VisionPro mesh sync. However, only a few of you likely have this pricey device.
I decided to adapt it for a much more affordable device: the "Looking Glass Portrait"

A friend let me use his Apple Vision Pro for a couple of days. With the limited time and my limited knowledge of AVP development, I decided to do something fun that could be useful.

Move over Nerf and Gaussian Splatting, there's a new sheriff in town: introducing "Dolphin Splatting"! I can practically fit **any** mesh into **any** pair of 2D images.

@themgoldfarb I would like to have feedbacks.
I don't like twitter too much.
Can we connect on linked-in?

Any other suggestion?
I am super proud to release today a #Houdini Digital Asset (#HDA) that leverages the power of the brand new 3d tiles API from Google and allows you to have high resolution meshes of the real world inside Houdini.
Everything is on #github

Little tribute to #strangerthings I did during my free time.
The corridor was scanned with #polycam, Thank to the new "room" feature I had a clean watertight mesh I could use in #Houdini to generate the vines, rendered in #realtime in #lensstudio.
I am proud to have implemented a #realtime#fluidsimulation inside #sparkar !
I looks great and it's fun playing with. The good news is you can play with it too!

Quick tap on screen to spawn a drop of water, rotate your phone!
Nicolas Eypert and I will do a presentation Sunday at Imersa Montreal on how we made a multiplayer collaborative game for a 360 Dome.

None of those images have any red or reddish pixels. In fact everything that looks red is in fact grey.

Another little personal #AR experiment on #lensstudio using the visual positioning system #VPS#Customlandmarker and body segmentation.
