spent the whole day building an MCP server that gives an AI agent a code security scanner and then I spent the rest of it trying to break my own server, path traversal, symlink escapes, null bytes, resource exhaustion, arguments crafted to run as code, I fired all of it at the running server over the real protocol and every attack got refused, nine held zero breaches, nobody is securing the tools we hand to AI agents yet and that's exactly the work I want, 98 tests green including the red team that attacks it
