wanted to put this on here because i never posted it on here + it's updated so... digimon series tier list (don't mind bestbreaks rank. I've only seen up to episode 16 as of now)

@nijipaint @Bo__Tariq oh yeah and in reference to their crests, I would definitely swap their crests, well at least intelligence and sincerity at least, I think reliability and love suits them good, but ioris first crest and miyakos second crest should've been switched definitely

y'know, normally i respect someone's digimon opinions because everything is subjective and everyone views things differently. but like i get so mad whenever someone says that most of the 02 cast has "little to no character" because like did we even watch the same show

@nijipaint and I think another missed opportunity is that they are literally the only two adventure characters without an official crest..ken has the crest of friendship and then daisuke basically had the crest of miracles (albeit only being on the digiegg), but for iori and miyako? nothing

@nijipaint @Bo__Tariq and I feel like it makes even less sense because hikari and takeru are....already a duo? like they could've EASILY done something. plus they match each other PERFECTLY
like genuinely i only think they did that because they wanted every duo to have the same gender

@nijipaint @Bo__Tariq i feel like the biggest missed opportunities for me personally was not making iori and miyako a full length duo. I fully believe they should've been a jogress duo instead of the original jogress's they chose, considering they were already really close at the start of the series

@MasaruDz when I made this I miswrote that in the moment 😭 I meant to say that I thought that many characters in adventure i felt got less depth in their writing as I thought they could've gotten (they still have good writing though) and tri I think solved a few of their missing depth

has it been confirmed how many episodes beatbreak has left? because people are acting like beatbreak is ending in like four weeks or something when the last two digimon seasons have had 60+ episodes

@Bo__Tariq and I never understood the takeru and hikari not being unique take? they got a whole new adventure with character development that was honestly better than it was in adventure, and I feel like showing their adventures when they are the same age as the og cast is important

@Bo__Tariq iori and miyako are obviously the weakest of the bunch, but I think overall they still contribute well to the plot and their character arcs were great. Albeit they did get heavily sidelined in the later half

@nijipaint @Bo__Tariq this is honestly my biggest negative about the show. after they receive the imperialdramon power-up the show just simply sidelines every other big character for the most part and mainly just focused on the two main characters (tbf they are the protagonists but it gets to a point)

@nijipaint @Bo__Tariq i do honestly believe ken and daisuke individually both have the best writing in the show, and some of that comes from them as a duo, but honestly up until ken & daisuke got the imperialdramon power-up iori and miyakos writing was definitely on the same level as them

jokes aside i just finished the fight where armalizamon defeats azhdarmon, and man raito has such a good character arc. going from a guy who treats his digimon like a tool to learning the true meaning of having a partner, but only after he hits rock bottom against tomoro
