@kurisu1220 They will do deals with k-1 for 6 months, build some momentum then get mad, break off all contact for 2 years and the process starts again. They have tried to do stuff like this many times but old dudes be old duding
The biggest reason we don't see more of this is the time limit. Tournament format means fights need to be quick. Stepping back is often held against you by incompetent judges. Look at Fukuchi vs Tofanelli in K-1. We could have that ever fight if they were given rounds to work.
Some really sick fights from jfko 10th in may. Tsukamoto moves so well. I really like Kyokushin guys who will embrace its roots and move more. Not just stack up at point blank and trade body shots. Looks like a fight from the 90's. Love it!
@kurisu1220 K-1 did a one off and it actually got a lot of buzzl. My hope is one of the orgs, would sponsor one a month to be on k-1 cards. To get it in front of eyes. That would be enough for me. Fukuchi asked them to do it after the match too. well see. https://t.co/JxI57X5bIB
@kurisu1220 Oh I think were talking past each other here. Superfights means a 1 off. None tournament format. I would not introduce rounds to a tournament format. That is too hard. Were talking about 2 different things.
@kurisu1220 Im not going to convince you. But I really encourage you to watch seidokaikan from 1990-1994 Or any of the ichigeki events where they had round based fights. It just gave fighters more room to work, use movement, and fight with long view in mind. It had no negative effect.
@kurisu1220 That literally didn't happen in k-1 or any of the lechi kurbanov fights. So I don't buy that at all. Seidokaikan also had a round format and non of that happened. There is no evidence to support that claim.
@kurisu1220 Ultimately the main "problem" is the time limit. Tournament format means fights need to be quick. I just wish we had some super fight divisions because i think there is a whole generation of beautiful counter fighters we would discover.
@kurisu1220 Lots of fighters across many combat sports are absolutely dominating and controlling while shuffling backwards. Even guys moving back and countering get penalized heavily in a lot of tournaments. Its stupid. Were just gonna have to agree to disagree on this one. Murakoshi core.

Ive had a lot of unhinged tweets over they years. Jimmy neutron brain blast still probably the most insane one. That's such ancient lost media I think only trashydrakefan is the only one still around who saw it lmfao.
@ApparatusFlatus Rofl. When im back in July we should do a pod one last time for old times sakes before i get put down like old yeller (im deathly sick right now)

Josh Hokit ASSAULT on Ilia Topuria
@TheMMAlien If you can't see how Kadyrov coded it is and why its weird that the sport is becoming so intertwined with the Trump government itself I don't know what to tell you. You do you bro. I have no desire to argue with you. I don't even watch the sport. Just calling a spade a spade
