🚨 In a recent press conference, Rob Friend, CEO of the Malaysia National Football Team, revealed that the naturalization of seven foreign players was part of a plan by Tunku Mahkota Johor (TMJ), the owner of Johor Darul Ta'zim.

Friend did not mention that the players’ desire to represent Malaysia was driven by national pride. Instead, he stated that these players were motivated to play for Malaysia because of TMJ’s influence.

“He’s our visionary. He (TMJ) sets the direction and motivation. These players want to play for him (TMJ),” Friend said.

This statement comes amidst an ongoing investigation by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) into alleged document forgery linked to the naturalization process. The story continues to develop
