➡️ Las ventas de los blockbusters de Sony NO REFLEJAN el movimiento en contra de la empresa.

➡️ Tenéis que entender desde ahora mismo que el grueso de usuarios de PlsyStation son familias y niños desconectados totalmente del panorama.

➡️ No vais a parar las ventas de sus juegos favoritos pero eso no significa que no se vaya a generar un impacto enorme con todo lo que hacemos, que somos millones alrededor del mundo en esto.

➡️ Hay unos márgenes y una previsión de venta que se les va a echar por tierra con toda la gente que no vamos a comprar y las pérdidas que tendrán.
ESO es lo que os tiene que importar.

➡️ ¿Por qué os pensáis que Sony decidió anunciar el cese del soporte al formato físico justo ahora?

LO TENÍAN TODO CALCULADO.

Un plan de muchas capas, tanto de cara a los accionistas como de cara a los jugadores para empoderar a unos y desmoralizar a otros y evidentemente en ese plan también entran las salidas de los blockbusters como CoD y los que saldrán antes de que finalice el año.

Sony is unlikely to change its decision to stop releasing new PlayStation games on physical discs in 2028, according to industry analyst Piers Harding-Rolls.

Speaking to Push Square, Harding-Rolls said he doesn’t see “any chance” of Sony reversing course.

He believes the company will simply “wait for this storm to pass,” because digital game sales are simply too profitable despite the backlash from fans.

- No plans to reverse its decision on physical media
- Retail strategy won’t change
- Stores will reportedly sell empty game cases with download codes
- Sony believes players will eventually accept a 100% digital future
- Insiders claim Sony sees little need to maintain close contact with fans, trusting the strength of the PlayStation brand and community loyalty

Selling first-party games digitally also allows Sony to keep 100% sale price, instead of sharing roughly 30% with retailers.

An analyst told IGN: “With around 50 million PlayStation Plus subscribers, even if 500,000 canceled in protest, that’s just 1% of the business, unlikely to make Sony rethink. Digital is simply too lucrative.”
