pokecaft go crafting station is now live.
catch wild pokémon, collect gem drops, then go to the town station and press i to craft better poké balls.
basic ball auto-refills and is your unlimited starter catch tool. great balls increase catch rate for mid tier encounters. ultra balls give high reliability against strong wild pokémon. master balls guarantee capture on rare targets.
all upgrades are earned through gameplay and crafting.
$PokeCraft integration to game mechanics is being introduced today. So far land ownership is onchain @solana next its time to introduce $PokeCraft to duels and land purchases. Hope to see some players build training centres on their land of worthy value soon.

every pokemon now has a type class: fire, water, grass, electric, ice, rock, psychic, poison, fighting, bug.
you can see the type in your bag as a colored badge next to rarity, and in the duel hud during fights.
matchups matter in every fight:
- super effective hits do 1.5x damage
- not very effective hits do 0.6x damage
- neutral stays unchanged
fire beats grass. grass beats water. water beats fire.
duels now open showing your type advantage or disadvantage and every hit shows effectiveness in real time.

gyms and badges are live on PokeCraft.
the gym circuit is now active in spawn town with four leaders. spark, ember, glacier, and stone gym.
walk up to a leader and press U to challenge. you warp into a gold arena where you fight their 3 mon team, ending in a stronger ace.
types now fully matter in gyms. bring the right counter and you hit harder. bring the wrong type and you will struggle through the fight.
clear a gym to earn its badge. bolt, flare, frost, and stone. badges show in your bag and trainer card as you progress.
four gyms down. more coming.
gyms will be moving to Kanto Island soon which you will soon see much more activity on and easier route of passage, currently the only route of passage is via portal ship on an Island dock.
note: gym circuit is beta so combat mode is fairly basic.

kanto island can now be spawned into directly from the main map for training.
once you enter, there are 8 trainers across the island. each one is a type specialist battle test: spark, ember, glacier, stone, dojo, verdant, venom, and mind.
clear all 8 and unlock the champion battle for the crown.

after many player requests, v0.1 of mobile optimisation for pokecraft is now live.
touch controls, joystick movement, drag to look and a full mobile hud are now in-game on mobile.
it’s still actively in development, so desktop is entirely recommended for the best experience right now while we keep refining mobile performance and controls as the game progresses.

testing pokebattle real time 1v1 mechanics in the server:
walk up to anyplayer in the world, press u to challenge. both players warp into a glowing battle ring, send out their buddy mon, and fight using the poké-ball weapons they already carry.
every player now has an elo rating starting at 1000 with win/loss tracking and tier progression from bronze to master. ratings are exchanged at challenge time and persist locally with optional global sync.
testing the mechanics of this with several rounds of improvements for development before will roll out $PokeCraft wagering.
