⚖️COURT UPDATE⚖️Stefon Diggs is asking the District of Maryland to step in on REMAINING discovery disputes in his case against Christopher Griffith.

In a July 2, 2026 filing, Diggs submitted a Local Rule 104.7 certificate, telling the court that his side served a motion to compel on Griffith in May, met and conferred with Griffith’s counsel and resolved some issues, but that several discovery disputes remain.

According to the filing, Diggs served but did not file a motion to compel on May 11, 2026. His counsel then met with Griffith’s counsel by phone on May 20, 2026 in an effort to resolve the disputes.

Diggs says Griffith later supplemented his document production and served an opposition on May 26, 2026. Diggs then served a reply on June 9, 2026 identifying the remaining issues.

The first unresolved issue involves Instagram direct messages. Diggs says Griffith previously posted a screenshot of an Instagram DM with Diggs that Griffith claims supports his theory of the case.

Diggs argues Griffith has not produced the full Instagram direct message history, and Diggs claims the screenshot was taken out of context.

Diggs also says he cannot access the Instagram DM history himself because Griffith blocked him on Instagram. Because of that, Diggs argues the messages are within Griffith’s sole possession, custody and control.

Diggs wants Griffith ordered to produce the complete Instagram direct message history between them.

The second issue involves third-party communications. Diggs says Griffith indicated he would continue searching for and producing relevant communications with third parties, including communications Griffith allegedly referenced under oath.

The filing specifically mentions a discussion between Griffith and Maurice Kamara, which Diggs says has not been produced.

Diggs also says Griffith appeared on multiple podcasts discussing Diggs, but has not produced communications related to those podcast appearances.

The third issue involves Griffith’s travel records from California to Maryland and back for the weekend of May 20 through May 22, 2023.

Diggs says Griffith claimed in his opposition that Diggs’ team booked that travel, but Diggs argues Griffith testified at deposition that he purchased the travel accommodations himself.

Diggs says Griffith agrees that travel-related documents are relevant and should be produced, but that no such records have been produced yet.
