ALERT: Nearly 200,000 $XRP drained from the Coreum cross-chain bridge, exploiting a flaw in the bridge's deposit verification to create fake balances and trigger real withdrawals
🚨BUSTED: The CFTC charges a Florida man over a $397 MILLION crypto Ponzi scheme with 1,600 victims.
Christopher Delgado and his firm Goliath Ventures allegedly lied about putting customer funds in DeFi liquidity pools.
Instead he spent $48 million on a yacht, $4.9 million on world travel and $2.9 million on luxury apparel and jewelry.
Delgado already pleaded guilty to wire fraud in June and faces up to 20 years per count.
The SEC filed parallel charges Tuesday.
"We have identified a coordinated operation to influence American lawmakers by five foreign NGOs and their US affiliates. These NGOs have converged upon a unified strategy: use the rhetoric of ‘child safety’ to end digital anonymity."

We welcome Meta’s release of Muse Glimmer, another win for American innovation. Sustaining U.S. leadership in AI means advancing both open- and closed-weight models, ensuring the future is built on trusted foundations.
JUST IN: 200,000 XRP drained from the Coreum-XRPL bridge in 94 payments over 97 minutes on Aug 9.
Root cause: a relayer logic flaw. The bridge validated deposits by checking transaction memos only never verifying the actual destination address.
XRP Ledger itself was NOT compromised. Bridge remains halted. No official incident report from Coreum yet.
This is outrageous.
Leftist lunatics are allowing illegals to steal opportunities from Americans, giving in-state tuition to people who don’t even belong in this country.
It’s time to crack down on this corruption and put Americans FIRST.
XRPL now has tooling built around the x402 payments protocol aimed at AI agents making autonomous payments. Machine-to-machine settlement is a new category of demand, and Ripple is building the rails for it directly on the ledger.
This is what a neutral bridge asset solves.
No country is required to trust the de facto USD as the bridge currency. The USD becomes a bridge currency, not the bridge currency. Same for the euro and yuan.
BRICS can conduct business outside of the USD; however, should they need to settle with a U.S. institution, a European institution, or another currency bloc, neither side has to make the other’s sovereign currency the intermediary.
That is the point of a neutral bridge asset.
USD - XRP - Yuan.
Yuan - XRP - Real.
Real - XRP - Euro.
The currencies remain sovereign. The monetary systems remain sovereign. The bridge does not.
This isn’t necessarily “de-dollarization.” It is de-intermediation of the settlement layer by removing the requirement that one nation’s currency sit in the middle of everyone else’s trade. (Mitigating the triffin dilemma.)
A multipolar monetary system doesn’t require one currency to defeat another. It requires a neutral mechanism capable of transferring value between them.
That is the problem XRP was designed to solve.
@nypost Communism (DSA) is the luxury of the privileged and indolent. Think of it as the veganism of politics.
Simply put for those needing a reminder on the different "isms" ...
🚨 Dubai courts have confirmed that employment salaries can be paid in cryptocurrency.
That’s a major signal for crypto adoption.
Crypto is becoming part of the economy one use case at a time. $XRP
Hey @ben_mckenzie,
As someone who was awarded the Defender of Freedom Award, Lawyer of the Year Award, and Consumer Advocate of the Year, related to my pro bono legal work protecting retail investors within the digital asset space, you should know that you sound like a 🤡 bragging about protecting Americans from Donald Trump’s exploitation of the crypto industry.
Trump already made $1.4 Billion trading/exploiting crypto. In fact, he made more profit than @coinbase did in 2025. But the reason he was able to is because of a lack of regulatory Clarity related to digital assets.
Because we have a corrupt and inept Congress, we still apply 1933 statutes and a 1946 Supreme Court case involving 🍊 groves to modern day technologies like Blockchain, AI, Robotics, Automation, Quantum Computing, etc.
You claim that you helped stop Trump’s crypto corruption. Are you really that stupid or are you’re intentionally gaslighting people. Because you seem to be claiming that Trump is going to stop making money off Crypto because the Clarity Act didn’t get passed. I bet you also think predatory banks are the good guys, don’t you?
Nice day to remind you all that @SenWarren chose as one of her generals in her anti-crypto army the guy who banked Jeffrey Epstein. She chose Gary Gensler as another general. Just by coincidence he worked at Epstein funded MIT Media Lab before becoming the SEC Chair. So much for fighting for women's rights.
