I have been forwarded an email from a "Journalist" Jane at the Jewish Chronicle. I have posted an image of the email that she sent to the @WorkersPartyGB, trying to embroil the party that I love with nonsense because I know that they will never ever publish the truth. I have written this, and I'm publishing it to my social media myself. The following is my response to her hit piece.

The irony of the @JewishChron Jewish Chronicle publishing a hit piece on me after its editorial support for Israel's Genocide in Gaza and the illegal war against Iran is not lost on me. From my perspective, its coverage reflects consistent support for the Israeli government, which may explain why my anti-war position is misrepresented.

For the record, I am not the National Coordinator of the Workers Party. I stepped down over a year ago following a personal injury. A basic fact check would have confirmed this. But your aim isn’t journalism; it's a basic hit piece.

My position is consistent: just as I would support the UK's right to defend itself against an unlawful invasion, I apply the same principle to Iran. You may disagree with that position, but it is a principled anti-war stance rather than a selective one. This may be an alien concept to the Jewish Chronicle, which puts Israel first and, as such, supports Israel’s illegal wars.

I support nuclear deterrence as a means of preventing war. If Israel is accepted as possessing a nuclear deterrent, I believe the same principle should apply to Iran. My view is that mutual deterrence reduces the likelihood of conflict. North Korea is often cited as an example of a state that has not been invaded since acquiring nuclear weapons, although the reasons are debated. Can you explain why you have no issue with Israel illegally acquiring a nuclear bomb?

I am not surprised that you object to my statement that "what is happening in Gaza is a Holocaust against the Palestinian people." It’s a clear example of Zionism, which is Jewish supremacy. That a Palestinian life is worth less than a Jewish life.
