Wallahi Wallahi Wallahi, I am saying this with every sincerity from the depths of my heart, please stop ridiculing people on social media, especially women. Do not become so comfortable mocking another person’s predicament that you forget how unpredictable life can be. Today it may be someone else’s trial, tomorrow it may become yours.
Some people derive pleasure from humiliating others over marriage, divorce, financial hardship, infertility, single motherhood, or personal struggles as though destiny cannot rotate overnight. Never be too arrogant with temporary comfort. Life has a mysterious way of humbling people who weaponize another person’s pain for entertainment.
Years ago, a lady persistently mocked. She fabricated stories about me and made me feel worthless over something that was already painful enough. I remember crying bitterly and telling her, “The way you have consistently laughed at my Qadr, may Allah test you with the same situation.”
Wallahil Azim, the exact same fate later visited her. She got married and was divorced shortly after. She eventually gave birth in her parents’ house, precisely the same circumstance she once used to ridicule me for. Her own siblings later came seeking forgiveness on her behalf.
That experience taught me a lesson I will never forget, never mock a person’s test, because Allah can change situations within the blink of an eye. The same condition you laugh at today may become your reality tomorrow. A person with genuine upbringing, dignity, and fear of Allah does not belittle people because of temporary circumstances.
May Allah purify our hearts, protect us from arrogance, and save us from using our tongues to wound others emotionally.
