@Seanfrank LA used to be all of that. But now it no longer holds the #1 spot in anything except the beauty of its landscape.
I hope to god it gets back to its golden age
@realEstateTrent Haha yeah I realized you were referring to commercial properties right after I typed that all out
Different ball game. No doubt about it
Yeah there are no white collar jobs available and it’s going to continue that way. This whole idea that Miami is going to be a tech/finance hub isn’t happening.
The city is going to continue to be the destination for those who have already “made it”. If you’re UHNW+, it’s the best place on earth to be right now.
To your comment about the ultra rich not actually being there. They absolutely are for wayyyy more than 183 days even.
Other than Miami/SoFlo being by far the best lifestyle city in America for people with big bucks, it’s also home to the most society events throughout the year.
Miami is just one giant country club for the American/euro/LatAm Elite cosplaying as a city
You’re spot on.
You’ll be hard pressed to find an area as densely populated with top talent/wealth in any city in the world.
All the top movers/shakers from the US/Western Europe/Latin America are all concentrated in that one little area hanging out all day in Sunset Harbour and living on Venetian.
It’s insane.
This is absolutely true.
I see this all the time with SF tech money. They may have the most money in the room, but they can’t access the coolest venues/rooms and highest-tier women in cities like LA/MIA/NYC.
Call it gate keeping if you want but at a certain level, money is just expected - everyone has it.
@datingbyblaine NYC/LA/MIA are where hot people go to live their lives.
SF/SEA/POR is where people who like to pretend being hot doesn’t matter go to cope.
@datingbyblaine The reason SF men pretend to value intelligence over beauty is because it sounds less pathetic than admitting they’re terrified of hot women.
