Thrilled to be featured on @techreview and have the opportunity to share my views about freedom, beauty, and how technology and creativity intersect with our human experience.
Thank you @TateRyMo for this opportunity!
Please read, and I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Demand for face filters on Instagram and other visual platforms remains high, despite their negative effect on users' mental health and Meta's efforts to ban some of them. https://t.co/5G8gAQEuVd
what do you do for work? well, it depends. sometimes butterflies come out of chrysalis, sometimes I help you reprocess ptsd, other times I turn you into a superhero, let you explore a stadium or a museum, give you a cool outfit. rn I’m making candles float and a tarot card game.

While there is growing unease about the way technology is impacting our ideas of beauty, some believe that it can have a positive effect. https://t.co/rYQRUaoyrE
Hey there! I had the pleasure of chatting with @flocornall for this wonderful piece she wrote for CNN on beauty tech, AI, and digital identity.

@CiroContns@AntoniaRForster I agree with this. I never had to use c# outside Unity, but if you like Unity and you want to code outside of it and I'd suggest javascript / three.js / a-frame.
@Enuriru c'mon! there's lot of other examples there. what about playing multiple multiplayer games, with different levels, with real time notifications between players, with your own customized character, tracking a real world location?
@Enuriru they don't need to provide each and single one of these features built-in, if you code you can build solutions for each use case, that's the fun part!
@Enuriru I'm talking about webar as in web based AR experiences, which you can create using three.js / a-frame / 8th wall / Unity to name a few and plug in almost every api available and create experiences way superior to a filter, maybe you're talking about the webxr api???
@dweekly back in the 90s chatGPT bedtime stories was my dad. my brother and I would give him a prompt night after night and he would take 1-2 min to process and then come up with the most creative stories. you just brought back a core memory 💕
@Enuriru I agree mostly with the advantages you mentioned about social ar and I do go for it for certain use cases. specially when priority is reach, but I get the feeling you’re a bit out of date on what you can achieve with webar.

This weekend I'm joining my friends from Trendimensional for London Fashion Week.
We collaborated to create an AR try-on of the pieces of the capsule collection they'll be presenting tomorrow at PICNIC, an absolutely insane full weekend event at @w1curates immersive studio.
