underwhelmed: "these are really cute but... i really kinda expected more from how much they were hyping this up and how long the event was"

Dissapointed: "Oh… that’s it? I was really hoping for something I’d actually use all the time. I’m just bummed."

ungrateful: "THATS ALL WE GET????? these are so ugly and stupid who would even want these? this whole event was useless and annoying, i hated it. we basically got NOTHING"

see how these are all talking about the same topic, but are very clearly different?

being underwhelmed and dissapointed doesnt make you ungrateful. being ungrateful makes you ungrateful. you can be grateful you got something while being dissapointed or underwhelmed.

we need to STOP doing this. stop shaming and putting others down because they felt underwhelmed or dissapointed. being underwhelmed and dissapointed here isnt some character flaw, but being truly ungrateful is. if YOU liked the even, then thats fine! but just because YOU liked it and YOU thought it was enough doesnt dictate how the majority might feel. you can voice your opinion without silencing someone else's, and vice versa.

and if you're finding your own speech is sounding an aweful lot like ungrateful, then its time to adjust your speach to more accurately represent how you are really feeling.

and if you are finding yourself being overly angry at anyone who's even slightly critical of the game or just voicing their opinion about their dissapointment, stop yourself for a minute. because replying "EVERYONES SOOOOOOO UNGRATEFUL ALL THE TIME THE DEVS JUST CANT DO ANYTHING RIGHT!!!" isnt doing anything but making yourself look a little silly.

if we feel underwhelmed and dissapointed, we NEED to voice it so the devs KNOW what to tweak or change.
