Maybe this is me mistaking a small sample for an overall trend, but this is how many bike lanes are blocked *just* in view from my apartment, right now. All the lane work is great, but without enforcement is pretty undermining... #bikeDC

@eat_dc I worked at a DC Ace during COVID. Judging by the amount of conversion kits we built out, a good amount of people at least *got* bidets during 2020-2021.

@WalterDeleonDC The weirder thing about it (at least when I drove down 9th the other day) is that the lane was otherwise open between the pedestrian refuges so youd come up on it, get over, go through the intersection, move left, and have to move again

That said, I just stayed out of that lane.

@mirandareinert @thebrianfallon Hey, they point out that instead of selling 1day passes, you can buy a 2day pass and choose to go to just one of the days. So if you go to both, that's like getting one day for free, since it's the same price to go 1 day or 2.

It's kind of a bargain when you think about it/s

It's frustrating to have stations nearby while looking (& feeling about as smart as) a groundhog, popping up the escalator & frantically scanning for the bikestand only to realize I took the wrong exit or to spin with my map open trying to figure out where to go

@animalsofhockey I think the most stressed I've ever been in my life was ECF Game 7, 2OT, Pens/Sens. I watched it hiding around the corner in my apartment, drinking beer like it was going out of style.
