"Please don't separate me from my only friend, I love her."
"Not how it works, kid. Just for that I'm putting your crush in the same dorm as Chad. They're going to get to know each other VERY well."
"Don't put me in Slytherin, some kid said it's bad."
"YES SIR, MR. CHAD JUNIOR!"
Nobody wanted this. Everyone wanted to drag all of their shitty belongings on the plane and fly as cheaply as possible. We got exactly what we asked for.
"So Africa: what's the plan for getting your ground forces into Europe?"
"I don't understand the question? We have tanks, planes, and millions of soldiers with modern weaponry?"
"Uh huh. And how many of your trains cross the Sahara? Do you have enough boats and anti-ship weapons to cross the Mediterranean unopposed once you make it that far? Especially considering that you'll be up against The Royal Navy at the height of its power? I hope you can perform proper maintenance on your aircraft and transports to handle the number of sorties you'll need to handle thousands of enemy warships and hundreds of crossings."
"What's maintenance?"
Wizarding society across the world was disparate and had many incompatible ways of doing things. Roman descended Hellenic sorcerers with their astrology and geomancy wouldn't be caught dead with that nordic staff magic. Nor the blood rituals and spiritualism of the Celts. And so on. Hogwarts and the many other schools that popped up in Europe after them standardized things after a period of upheaval. Taking a bit of everything due to the four founders representing all these different schools of magic. In the modern day, Staff magic would be considered a Heavy Machine Gun compared to the dagger that is a Wand. It's widely understood that Merlin used a staff. And that added to his mystique amongst the Wizarding World. There's powerful things you can do with a staff that you can't with a wand. And Staffs amplify magic to a far greater capacity than a wand. But you need serious training and discipline to use a staff properly. And simply put most in the wizarding world simply don't have what's required to use a Staff properly. Nor the proper teacher you need to learn how to use a Staff without blowing up half the country with an Expelliarmus.
Only one witch and one wizard were known to have been taught staff magic by the mysterious and enigmatic Olorin. The wizard was Albus Dumbledore. The witch... you'll see her in Book 7. #Malfoid #MalfoidCodex
It’s the crabs-in-a-bucket demographics. It’s genetic; there’s no fixing it.
The government inserted racial aliens into homogeneous, safe, high-performing schools at gunpoint and bussed Whites into the ghetto as policy, which started the decline.
