Key here is China is not allowing Chinese data out of China, so Tesla has to duplicate its AI investment in China w/ another data center

Key to AI is not computation power, but rather the data. It would be extremely foolish of Chinese govt to allow Tesla take data out of China

If they do build a datacenter in China, it would be interesting to see if America allows the export of H100 into Tesla datacenter in China. I would presume not, but we will see. It would be interesting to see Tesla training FSD on HW chips
