@CeliaBedelia My family did that once when I was a kid, but we always stopped halfway through. On the outbound trip somewhere in the French Alps, and on the inbound trip just outside Cluny. It makes it much nicer, and gives you the time to do a bit of sightseeing.

@monamjour I cinesi lo fan tantissimo, sono stato a Dali e a LiJang, e c'era pieno di negozi che noleggiavano plasticosissimi costumi tradizionali locali. I tibetani ci dicevano che tendenzialmente i turisti li mettono accidentalmente gender-swapped, ma non ne sembravano dispiaciuti.

My daily mobility needs are fully satisfied by a bicycle, but then I do one work trip by car, and that's more miles than the rest of the year.
