Every time I see one of this sad attempts to compare voting to purchasing a firearm, I belly laugh. I've bought 3 so far, and every time it was a lot of identification, proof of where I lived, and classes I had to take to get one. I did it without question. Why don't I have to do the same to vote?

I was on it for diabetes and noticed some really bad things start happening (throat closures, couldn't swallow water, bloating) and immediately took myself off it. It took WEEKS after for these problems to subside.

My doctor tried to keep putting me back on it and I refused every single time, same goes with all GLP-1 inhibitors.

I completely understand the premise. I guess 8ve gotten lucky in that I still try to believe that people can be inherently good, even if that is a naive thought process.

That doesn't mean that it takes me very long to see who they are deep down and extricate myself from the situation if they're not good people (which by your point, seems to be most).

Absolute hero. And looking at the laws in AR for conceal carry (permitless) and that they have a stand your ground law on the books, I don't understand why he's even being charged.

If it were one of my kids, I'd have done the exact same thing in his shoes. His daughter's life was under threat.

@HazelAppleyard_ @netflix Cuties started it, the cartoon annoyed me, but the creator being an absolute jerk online sealed it. Been subscribed to Netflix since the very beginning when all they did was send you DVDs and I was tired of Blockbuster.

I have far few people in life that I would call friend and maybe 2 that I would trust with my life.

@Undoomed I watched them both. Glad I'm desensitized to this kind of thing, because those are REALLY hard to watch. But I really believe that if you can stomach it, you should definitely watch it.
