@BaronDestructo The way Harven Zax talks reminds me of Nerus from SG1. :)
Anyways, dropping the shroud was the plan, right? So let's continue with it. Option A.
Owning a piece of Paramount-Warner Bros. would give Elon Musk a place at the table on Skydance's biggest decisions.
On Thursday, came word that Elon would make a (start with?) $1 billion investment in the David Ellison company, according to a Semafor report. David and his father Larry are in the hole for $79 billion, and you can only cut that much staff to make up the difference. A cool $10 bil from Elon, even if not all of it is in cash, takes the bankers’ pressure off you. A chill $1b already helps.
But the Ellisons’ financial breathing room comes in a distant second, consequence-wise, to what such an investment would create: a backdoor for Musk to enter the media-entertainment world.

@BaronDestructo Like parent in an crippled airplane first putting on oxygen masks on themselves before putting it on their kids, we need to survive ourselves to be of any help. Option B.
My favorite part of this is that they'll say shit like this, and when you say that's not how biology works, they'll accuse you of not understanding biology.
