If his wife had a conversation with him and then he decided to stop, that’s different.
This is all predicated on whether it was actually his wife that was unhappy.

@DefiantLs I got a DUI back in 2002. I barely remember that I was in the drunk tank, much less any conversation I had with the cops. I was lucky and didn’t hurt anyone. Processing what she did won’t happen until she sleeps the alcohol off.

@ZubyMusic I do taxes. It sticks when I have to tell people they owe money, but it’s awesome when I’m able to help them for future years. It’s especially awesome when I see them in following years and they have followed my advice to minimize their tax burden.

@DefiantLs This is fine. The government has to use enticement for recruitment. I did 20 years. I didn’t join to serve my country, I joined because I’m a dummy that needed a job. But I ended up serving my country regardless. The perks were just a bonus.
