Spent 18hrs with my 79yo mum yesterday at @UHDBTrust - waited 13hrs in the ED & not seen by a dr. Finally sorted in SDEC by a great team. This is not only appalling but dangerous for patient safety @NHSuk @NHSMillion @NHSMidlands #NHS #patientcentredcare

I really do worry people have forgotten what Covid-19 was like for NHS staff. I went onto ICU wards and saw it myself. I spoke to staff broken by relentless death.
