I’ve just voted in the RPharmS Board Elections, although with 26 candidates it wasn’t an easy decision to pick my preferred nine people.
Really pleased to see the diversity of the candidates and area of practice https://t.co/xGvK6AwU7S

Aaaggghhhh - I’ve done it again! Yet again I’ve gone to the wrong dispensing drawer to get clarithromycin.
I always look for it with chlorpromazine because I think should be spelt with a “chl” like chlamydia 😡
@TabPharmer @ChemistDruggist 20 years ago when we bought Xrayser Pharmacy everyone said “Oh, you are brave” but we’re still here after the perennial predictions of doom for community pharmacy. I’m not saying it hasn’t been tough for us - and worse for many others - so we’ll done to you for sticking with it!
According to @mimsonline , the manufacturer of Epaderm says it’s been unavailable cos of unexpected low orders by the wholesalers.
Often pharma companies tell me there’s no stock cos the wholesalers “need to place an order”. You’d think the makers would prompt them in some way
Yet another text today that HMRC owe me a refund. Scams like this threaten the most vulnerable & I worry about my 97yr old father being taken in by scam phone calls. Fortunately he’s very deaf and a lifelong curmudgeon who mistrusts everyone, so hopefully not
@Xrayser Their advice is misleading and can only add to confusion and anxiety for patients contemplating taking the vaccine. I've emailed them to enquire about their regulatory body so a complaint can be raised.
@Cleverestcookie@frandavi99 Agreed - I don’t have a problem with limits. Although like many things in life - make them unachievable and they will be completely ignored. More a comment about lack of evidence base for alcohol limits
“Drinkaware issues advice on alcohol and Covid-19 vaccine”
I’m sorry Drinkaware, but this advice is completely without evidence base, or recommended by JCVI or vaccine SPC and so allows people to cast doubt on your supported health advice

@Cleverestcookie@frandavi99 It is difficult. The “safe” alcohol limits have never had any good evidence base - probably too many variables and genetic variation - but the need for a clear message means we need to quantify a limit. Don’t know what the answer is.
@MedisaveUK Excellent service! I placed an order with you yesterday and it arrived today!😊
A similar order placed with a rival supplier in December I’ve had to chase twice and still isn’t complete 😡
