@DrJNurse@PPupuliukas That's supposed to be the evidence that they shouldn't pay tax. They supposedly can be trusted to allocate the money more wisely than us mere mortals. We have to pay taxes as we're greedy π
@wccpharma@TohidMPharm It's this siloed thinking that hurts community pharmacy. In the time it took you to make this derisory comment you could have made a recommendation.
@Stand1986 @00pugsly @JohnPorteous4 @aliward_96@Trickyjabs The wealthy by their very nature have benefited more from our society. That is why invariably we should ask them to contribute more after a certain point. Just because the value of your labour is perceived as less, doesn't mean you work less hard.
@reegnkay@Deliveroo@TheGPhC I'm sure you're investigating? Clearly no controls in place to prevent this type of occurence and protect patient confidentiality. Using a food delivery service to deliver temperature sensitive medicines seems completely inappropriate in the first place
@Shad_Jabbar@kishanpatell21@gmabbam@TheGPhC I'm certainly not defending the GPhC. In my year they left out 8 pages from the middle of the paper and we had to sit in isolation for 2 and a half hours. I only took issue with the suggestion calculations were unnecessary at all.
@kishanpatell21@gmabbam@TheGPhC The ability to do complex calculations is invaluable in industry, hospital (particularly paeds) and specials manufacturing. May not be useful all the time in community but you're registering as a "pharmacist", not a "community pharmacist"
@BrugesGroup There was a famous error in pharmacy where a patient died because of confusion between grains and grams. Let's not forget the Mars orbiter that crashed because of conversion errors too. Regression is not cause for celebration
@alltheffffs @WalesOnline It's unfortunate but with millions of pounds worth of equipment, highly specialised experts and each dose specifically designed and made for each patient the cost is most certainly the cost. That's even before you consider the years of development.
@DorionMaxime @alison1928 In fairness it's all about perspective. Put Macron in the UK and he'd be more closely aligned with the labour party. There's plenty of representation of the left in the senate and national assembly although that's also primarily centrist
