I’ve been sitting with this thought about work.
You got the job that pays the bills. Covers rent, food, the basics. You can’t skip that part.
Then there’s the job that builds your career. The one where you’re actually getting better, stacking skills, creating options for later.
And then there’s the one that makes you feel alive. You finish your day and you still got something left in the tank. That one is hard to find.
Some people hit all three with the same gig. They’re blessed.
A lot of people never even get the first one.
Wherever you are right now, be real with yourself about which layers you’ve got. Protect the foundation and keep moving toward the rest if you can.
People confuse coding with programming.
Programming is a blend of engineering and art; the thought process to instruct a piece of metal to do what you need.
Coding is just the ink.
