We returned this weekend after finishing Super Junior Donghae's Hong Kong concert during his tour, but there was a bit of an incident midway through the performance TT

​Donghae is originally an artist who enjoys quite free-spirited performances on stage depending on his emotions at the moment. So, he occasionally sings while lying down or sings with his head completely bowed to the floor while kneeling.

​During this concert as well, he went out to the extended stage during the song "Help" and did lie down, but he kept singing on and off. Unlike usual, he looked heavily uncomfortable for some reason, so I was worried the entire time I was playing.

​After barely finishing "Help" like that, I quickly went backstage and found out that a problem had flared up with the chronic herniated disc he usually suffers from.

​What truly shocked me was that while dancing is one thing, singing also requires a lot of core strength in the lower back, so the pain must have been immense. Yet, after receiving first aid and calming down, he said it was a promise to his fans and performed every single song as originally planned. Leave alone singing, even just standing up would have been difficult, so I thought about significantly cutting down the remaining songs...

​After somehow managing to finish the concert like that, during the final remarks, Donghae cried because he felt so incredibly sorry for not being able to show the best performance to the audience who took their precious time to be there. Seeing him like that made me choke up too 😭😭😭

​Since he is a singer who tends to be so meticulous and wants to do everything perfectly when it comes to his work, and because he prepared for this tour for quite a long time, I completely understood how heartbroken he must feel TT

​Even right after the incident when we took the group photo, he couldn't sit on the floor, so he had to use a chair TT To be honest, my thought was that we shouldn't even take the group photo, or just have Donghae quickly take his and wrap up the show early so the artist could rest. However, the singer's determination to complete everything he prepared without skipping a single thing was truly amazing 👍👍👍

​I hope he receives proper treatment, recovers well during the remaining period, and flies high again just like before starting from this weekend's Japan concert TT
