@NOLAnews I like Nguyen, but I truly feel she didn't 1st. The convenience stores that sell the "greasy fried chicken" are popular because they are the only choice in that area. There's been no real effort to help lift up or to promote growth in the area. That's the real challenge

I was fortunate enough to have served as a CASA volunteer in the New Orleans area. The program serves as a voice for many young people.
Tell your legislators we Must find a way to save this important program, for the sake of the children it serves.
