Airbnb acted like they did me a big favor with refund, even though I was inconvenienced by the host’s egregious mistake. (You had 1 job 🙄) They truly lost the spirit of hospitality and treating guests well. Now it’s how much we can get nickel and dime’d.

At my last @airbnb the host forgot to get the room cleaned 🤢 she came to “clean” it and there were still tons of hair and stains on the blanket and pillows. Dried snot on bath tiles, at eye-level :)

I know I'd been warned, but I think Airbnb is over for me -- a host is angry with us because we didn't *vacuum*. mind you, we paid a $185 cleaning fee, stripped the beds, and took the trash to the local trash center

I bundled up and slept on couch because it was the cleaner option. Cleaning crew came next morning and I was able to finally shower. Host comp’d me cleaning fee and I made airbnb refund me for my first miserable night since I couldn’t use bed or bath.
