Married with 1 kid. Love the Boston Bruins. Known to spend a lot of my summer with a golf club in my hand. Like to mountain bike. Generally a sports nut
@985TheSportsHub@iSeanMcKeon@_TyAnderson Thank you. Bruins feel directionless looking from the outside. If they have picked a direction internally, they’ve done a poor job of communicating that to the fans. My fear is being a mediocre team for a long stretch. Be bad or be good.
@Goosey1994 You can but I think it’s much easier to make a trade to secure your future. An example is Zacha. Zacha could probably fetch good picks and prospect. Any team trading for PZ isn’t sending top 6 C back. So you’re weakening an already weak roster at center. Return will take time.
But how long are you willing to wait for “much better”.
Management seems to be willing to move players but seem to want pieces back that help now.
With a weak free agent class, it really is a good off season to be willing to take a step back and build for the future.
If am honest, my only untouchable Bruins are;
Pastrnak
E. Lindholm (NMC) - No choice
H. Lindholm (NMC) - No choice
McAvoy
Minten
Hagens
Zadorov
Jeannot (NTC) - No choice
Swayman
Anyone else can go if it meant making the team that much better.
#NHLbruins
As part of our conversation with Khusnutdinov about him learning English, someone suggested he could learn from watching cartoons, but he said he wasn't old enough to watch cartoons.
Really good way to look at it. Team was so much more fun to watch than last year. Competed really hard. Need to find ways to improve on it next season.
Marco Sturm on improving the defense:
"One of the biggest reasons why we made it this far is our goalies. We can't expect that every year. So that means we — as a group — we need to find ways to limit some [scoring] opportunities."
#NHLBruins really have to come out for the second with their pants on fire if they hope to keep their season alive. Have to find some energy and go down fighting.
The Bruins had six shots on goal in the first period. Three of them came from outside of the offensive zone. Two of those three were from 150-feet away.
@BruinsCapSpace Looks to me like they just run around and try to do too much at home. Probably easier to play simple on the road. I think playing man to man instead of a zone or hybrid compounds the problem.
Just another inexcusable playoff period for the #NHLBruins. It really looks like they have no idea how to defend. Complete chaos in their own end and spending the whole period there.
Don’t have a good feeling right now. Geekie misses an open net and #NHLBruins put the Sabres on the power play. Big guys have to finish those in big games.
