Kerala health minister Veena George says, as per the information she received, the lady doctor who was stabbed to death by a patient wasn’t experienced, and therefore, was frightened when she was under attack.

I don’t understand what ‘experience’ has to do here. What would a more experienced doctor have done? Do they train doctors in martial arts as they go up the ladder? Would a more experienced doctor not be frightened when someone attempts to stab him/her? Do attacks get normalised with experience?

Terrible that she doesn’t understand the inappropriateness of her statement.
