Cutting people off for how they view you is actually incredibly valid. I have no dealings with people who view everything I say or do through a negative lens. That’s a huge waste of time.
Genuinely terrible advice. Drop those albums. Publish your books. Upload your videos. Doesn't matter of a fanbase, they come with time! PLEASE keep creating and don't stop!!!!
i got kicked out of a bar last year for putting my taser on a table and tapping it lightly (zap sound) when a man was being shitty. when i left i said "god forbid a man feel unsafe for once in his life' and the entire patio went silent. been thinking about both how insane and right i was and remain
Cornell has been caught in a lie this morning. After previously asserting that they turned over all investigatory documents to the DA, NYT reporting reveals that they withheld the transcript of Jane Doe’s testimony and sent only the summary they produced, omitting key details and assertions. While Jane Doe did sign the statement, she is NOT an attorney and was not at all qualified to determine which legally relevant details to include or omit. That is the job of a system that failed her at every turn. And to be clear, this does not absolve the DA. If he truly believed he received a police report about a totally consensual evening (which that six page summary was not) it was his job to investigate why this young woman made a police report in the first place. Instead, he went on cable news to malign her character and weaken her credibility. Disgusting on every front. https://t.co/wzQoH33A34
everyone's uplifting Tinashe but she uplifted herself by believing in her vision and never giving up despite not getting her flowers. she knew she was *that girl* and she didn't rest until everyone else caught up - thee definition of a Popstar. it's all very meta and vindicating.
stop asking the world to give you what you refuse to give yourself. you want love? be full of it. you want peace? stop surrendering your entire inner life to whatever happens around you. you have so much more power over your own experience than you’ve been led to believe. the source of what you’re looking for isn’t always somewhere out there. a lot of it starts with you.
