A quick look at the ninth-inning at-bat by Roman Anthony last night - eight pitches in all. A couple of things to note:

* The first two called strikes came on steals, when Anthony allowed David Hamilton to advance.

* The hit had an exit velocity of slightly more than 80 mph, which means the analytics nerds probably see it as a failed at-bat, which it wasn't. In fact, it was big time.
