We are deeply saddened by the news of the assassination of Rehan Zeb Khan (pictured, right), who was a member of Extremely Together Pakistan.

Rehan was killed yesterday as he was running for a provincial assembly seat in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Western Pakistan.

Rehan Zeb Khan, a fierce campaigner for human rights and civic freedoms, demonstrated the power of youth leadership for peaceful change in adverse conditions. We admire his courage and dedication.

In #Uganda, over 75% of the population is under 35, yet young people are often left out of crucial conversations and decision-making processes.

But change is happening, and it's led by the youth themselves!

Extremely Together Uganda promotes youth engagement in democratic processes in various ways, including hosting civic discussions between young people and their broader communities, workshops for young politicians, and the creation of 'Peace Committees'.
