Eine bittere Entscheidung. Die Genoss_innen werden genau geprüft haben, ob Alternativen bestehen. Dass Antifas nicht mit Leuten demonstrieren wollen, die das antisemitische Massaker vom 07.10.23 mit „die Al-Aqsa-Flut ist eine revolutionäre Opposition“ kommentieren, ist klar.

In recent months, Hungary has let through at least 20,000 Syrian migrants into Slovakia, at least two terrorists among them, according to Slovak National Police Chief István Hamran. Some Slovak parties accuse Hungarian PM Viktor Orbán of manufacturing a crisis to help Robert Fico's anti-migrant campaign before the upcoming Slovak elections. Some local mayors in Souther Slovakia say that Hungarian police are at least clearly not doing their job.

However, a recent report by @Telexhu suggests that it's more likely that Orbán's failed government policies resulted in a seriously understaffed police force, which is unable to stand up against illegal migration. Telex's reporter checked the migrants' routes and confirmed that anyone can easily pass the Hungarian-Slovak border without any police check on the Hungarian side, by foot or on road, even weeks after the start of the current crisis situation.

It also complicates the picture that Orbán's government has set free at least 1,400 convicted human traffickers with foreign nationality in Hungary, without making sure that these people leave the country as well as that they finish their prison sentence in their own countries.

According to Slovak PM Ludovit Odor, "refugees are not coming from Mars, they are coming through Hungary, but they are also trying to enter Austria from Hungary in the same or perhaps even greater numbers". He also added that he doesn't want to guess whether the Hungarian government's release of convicted foreign human traffickers and their expulsion from Hungary - without making sure they actually leave - might have an impact on the current mass illegal migration.

Meanwhile, pro-Orbán propaganda stays absolutely silent on the Slovak mass migration crisis despite its known focus on any illegal migration related news. The reason looks pretty obvious: the current situation in Slovakia refutes the Orbán government's claim that they are strong and effective in tackling illegal migration.
