🚨 250,000 signatures, Guardians. 250,000.
The #Destiny3 petition is still growing. Keep sharing!
Let's flood the @PlayStation State of Play with #WeWantDestiny3 on June 2nd.
Log in and play #Destiny2 on June 9th.
We have a message to send to @Bungie/@Sony, and we have to be loud about it!

Destiny kept Bungie alive for 12 years.
Through every low, every crisis, every near-collapse.
Then they starved it for Marathon and other garbage… and watched the whole thing burn.
12 years of Guardians gone so they could chase a game that couldn’t even hold players.
I’ll never forget what this game gave us.
Culpados: Os pais negligentes e o dono do animal.
If Bungie had invested more resources into Destiny, the game would be bigger.
If Bungie had prioritized overdelivery, more players would have returned.
If Bungie had preserved its campaigns instead of vaulting content, the story would be better.
If Bungie had supported PvP with more maps, Crucible would be thriving.
If Bungie leadership had prioritized the franchise’s long-term future, Destiny 3 would already be in development.
If Sony leadership had made smarter decisions, we wouldn’t be facing what is Destiny’s final live service chapter.
Destiny deserved more.
The fans deserved more.
The developers deserved more.
But I’m not leaving.
I’ll keep playing. I’ll keep fighting for this franchise. I’ll keep advocating for Destiny’s future.
I will stay loud. I will stay committed.
Guardians make their own fate.

Want to see how much potential Destiny has outside the US?
Here in Brazil, where games are incredibly expensive and disposable income is much lower than in major gaming markets, a YouTuber with just 11,000 subscribers posted a video asking players to log into Destiny 2 on June 9th. That video ended up reaching #4 on YouTube Brazil’s weekly Most Hyped ranking, beating videos from creators with audiences many times larger.
What’s even more impressive is that it wasn’t a solo effort. Several bigger creators joined the campaign, including a member of @flowgamespdc, the largest gaming podcast in Brazil.
The video also featured the Brazilian voice actors for Ikora, Cayde-6, and Zavala. None of them were paid to participate. They did it because they genuinely care about the game and understand what it means to the community.
And the community is responding. Brazilian Destiny players are preparing for a massive log-in day on June 9th, with WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels, and Discord servers organizing activities and rallying players to jump into the game together.
Even gaming news sites across the country have been covering the movement regularly, and other content creators are also making videos encouraging players to log in on June 9th.
Destiny has potential all over the world. It’s honestly absurd that Sony doesn’t see it.
Hey all,
Expect our first Developer Insight to land tomorrow morning (8AM Pacific). We'll be talking through the return of the Director, our recently announced Distortions activity for Destinations, and more.
TWID will be going live on Friday, after our second Developer Insights article focused on the Weapons Sandbox.
See you soon.
Open letter to Sony
You got ripped off by Pete Parson of Bungie in the biggest heist in gaming history. You paid $3.6 billion for a failing company.
You can do 2 things now. Punish everyone at Bungie for your mistake or go on the offensive to make your money back. This letter is about option 2.
You can make your money back and here is how. You need to monetize D2 better. I have over 10.000 hours in the game and built several multi-billion companies that controlled 4% of the Internet before the US Government shut them down, unlawfully.
You have nothing to lose at this point so hear me out. Monetization of D2 is shit. You have a large community and here is how you grow that community for Bungie to be profitable.
Add a marketplace for the best items in the game. Let users and content creators auction what they earn in-game.
Sell vault slots. Many gamers are horters. Let them pay for it.
Add items that are truly rare. Make the gaming experience more rewarding by limiting those special items.
Change the sandbox and allow Gamers to feel powerful.
Allow 3rd party developers to make commercial mods for D2 and acquire the best mods.
Make D3
Turn this bad investment into a winner. You will have some pushback from the community about ‘pay to win’ but having some criticism is much better than letting D2 die. Make content creators excited to play and promote D2 again and you will observe a steady increase in player numbers and income.
Regards,
Kim Dotcom
