Male gamer in extraction shooter community who streams with pros like Shroud and Summit1g is (mockingly) called a vtuber by his viewers because 99% of vtubers are cute anime girls. He protests "No I'm not".
This is like someone calling your oshi a dude with a voice changer. It's a joke, you're reading into it too much. If you think he genuinely hates Vtubers, you've been successfully rage baited.
And the clip of him saying he should troll vtubers? The context of that clip was him asking another streamer in call if he would vote for him for best FPS streamer, and they responded "Of course I'll vote for you... For best VTUBER". It was funny. Shroud leans into the joke and says you should do it to piss off vtubers.
You having an aneurysm about it on Twitter just proves them right.
Before the elitists and haters start saying “he’s not a real vtuber” you’re also telling png vtubers and other vtubers who don’t “spend money” on their models that they’re not real vtubers either.
V stands for virtual not anime. He’s virtual, entertaining and hilarious and obviously his community showed up for him. You guys just sound jealous to me.
Regardless if he doesn’t consider himself a vtuber he does fit the category. It’s clear whatever he’s doing is working.
Here we go again, we do this every year.
Whether it's Ironmouse winning vtuber of the year (again) or Hololive sweeping the vtuber awards (again), everyone is pissed and twitter is on fire.
Doesn't matter if it's a Snapchat filter or a png model. Peanut is technically a vtuber, and the most popular vtuber won.
You will forget in a week. If you're taking the circle jerk popularity contest seriously to begin with, you've lost the plot.
Next week, we are planning to release Patch 0.3.1 with major changes and improvements to the endgame, along with many other fixes and improvements across the board. Watch this video for the broad strokes, and check out more details in today's news post.

@nintemdogs It's sad how disabled people have been vilified in this country over and over. Just look back to COVID where the rhetoric felt close to "please die for your country"
I've not reached out to friends I've absolutely adored for years because of just the mental drain on it all. For those people I'm truly sorry. You all mean loads to me but day to day life is fucking exhausting.
The last 12 months have been tiring as fuck. Pouring too much effort into something just to be vilified is ridiculous. I've had to hide my profiles just to have a normal fucking day. I'm tired of constantly having to deal with shit after shit situation.
Then there is the UK government actively trying to make every immigration movement as hard as possible. By the end I will be in over 15k pounds just to be allowed to stay. Visiting family is an absolute no because border security happily detains people with valid visas
