It’s embarrassing to even walk in public anymore.
I’m innocent.
I was never found in possession of anything illegal. Every product in my store was legal hemp flower under the 2018 Farm Bill — all <0.3% Delta-9 THC, every single one backed by COAs and invoices dating back to 2022.
Yet Google, Facebook, and arrest websites still scream false possession charges I was never formally charged with. The officer made controlled buys of the same legal flower every smoke shop in West Virginia still sells. He never identified the products. He never showed me the lab results. He just called it “marijuana in a fishbowl on Main Street.”
$250,000 cash-only bond. Ten days in a dangerous felony pod. Four delivery charges quietly dropped to one. Then after I asked for my phone, computer, and wallet back, he allegedly added the dropped charges plus gun charges.
41 years clean. 20 years sober. A small business I built from nothing — reputation destroyed overnight by false public records that still haven’t been corrected.
I kept every receipt. Every COA. Every legal product.
Nothing illegal was ever found when they raided my store.
