Yulia Mendel, a journalist and former press secretary to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, gave an interview on Tucker Carlson’s platform titled “Cocaine, Cover-ups, and the Only Obstacle to Peace.” The episode included discussion of a number of sensitive political topics, including claims that Ukraine was allegedly prepared to make concessions regarding Donbas during negotiations in Istanbul in 2022.
The Office of the President of Ukraine rejected these statements, emphasizing that Mendel did not participate in the negotiations and was not involved in decision-making. The comments also noted that some of her claims are based on unverified sources. The interview sparked significant public reaction due to the sensitivity of the issues raised and differing interpretations of wartime events.

Baykar CEO Haluk Bayraktar noted the rapid development of Ukraine’s drone industry during the full-scale war. According to him, Ukraine has been able to demonstrate a high level of innovation even under the challenging conditions of combat operations.
Specifically, this refers to the use of FPV drones with fiber-optic control and artificial intelligence technologies, which allow them to bypass electronic warfare systems.
The Ukrainian company OSIRIS AI has developed the UEB-1 interceptor drone, capable of reaching speeds of up to 315 km/h.
The UEB-1 is capable of processing data directly on board, allowing it to perform tasks with minimal operator involvement and reducing the operator’s workload.
The company noted that this drone is an important product in the field of unmanned solutions for modern security challenges.

During a visit to Kyiv, U.S. General Antonio Aguto, responsible for coordinating support for Ukraine, suffered a concussion at a party involving alcohol. On his way back from another trip, he also forgot a tube containing confidential information on a train.
This is stated in a report by the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General, published on March 12.
The report covers events from April and May 2024, when Aguto was serving as commander of the Security Assistance Group–Ukraine (SAG-U) in Wiesbaden, which coordinated training and support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The investigation was based on anonymous whistleblower reports and included allegations of a “toxic” atmosphere at the SAG-U headquarters, as well as details of Aguto’s visit to Ukraine in spring 2024.
On May 13, 2024, during his visit to Kyiv, General Aguto fell and hit his head after a dinner where he consumed about a liter of chacha. The following day, despite feeling unwell, he did not cancel a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. While rushing, he fell again, injured his jaw, and arrived at the talks in an impaired condition. At the hospital, he was diagnosed with a concussion.
Investigators linked the incident to excessive alcohol consumption, though the general denied this.
A separate case involved the temporary loss of classified maps during a поездка. They were later found and returned.
In August 2024, Aguto left his post, and the allegations of toxic behavior were not officially confirmed.
Former CIA employees are increasingly moving into the tech sector and heading up start-ups in the fields of data and artificial intelligence, according to Bloomberg.
In particular, former intelligence officer Brian Carbo, who previously worked undercover in various countries, now heads the company Andesite in Virginia. The start-up specialises in data analysis and attracts investment for the development of technologies related to security and defence.
According to experts, the experience of former intelligence officers helps technology companies integrate their developments into government programmes and defence projects more quickly. This could change the landscape of the start-up ecosystem, where dual-use technologies — for both civilian and military applications — are playing an increasingly significant role.

Humanoid soldier robots Phantom MK-1 have been delivered to Ukraine to evaluate their effectiveness.
The company Foundation told Time that two robots were sent to Ukraine in February.
Ukraine has become the world’s main testing ground for weapons manufacturers, including Western startups.
Among them is the American company Foundation, which plans to deploy the Phantoms to the front line to refine the technology.
Company co-founder Mike LeBlanc says what he has seen in Ukraine only strengthens his belief in the value of humanoid soldiers.
For now, Phantom is undergoing testing at factories and shipyards from Atlanta to Singapore.
The company already has research contracts worth a total of $24 million with the U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force.
It also plans to begin testing for the Marine Corps, during which Phantom will be trained to place explosives on doors to help troops enter facilities more safely.
At the same time, AI-based drones in Ukraine are already capable of independently assessing targets and guiding themselves toward them.

These attacks, like all phishing, rely on social engineering. Attackers impersonate trusted contacts or services (such as the non-existent “Signal Support Bot”) to trick victims into handing over their login credentials or other information. To help prevent this, remember that your Signal SMS verification code is only ever needed when you are first signing up for the Signal app. 2/4

Today in Budapest, Hungarian authorities took seven Ukrainian citizens hostage. The reasons are still unknown, as well as their current well-being, or the possibility of contacting them.
These seven Ukrainians are employees of state-owned Oschadbank, who were operating two bank cars transiting between Austria and Ukraine and carrying cash as part of regular services between state banks.
In fact, we are talking about Hungary taking hostages and stealing money. If this is the “force” announced earlier today by Mr Orban, then this is a force of a criminal gang. This is state terrorism and racketeering.
We have already sent an official note demanding an immediate release of our citizens.
We will also address the European Union with the request to provide a clear qualification of Hungary’s unlawful actions, hostage-taking, and robbery.
