@thisisandrewc AH, that makes more sense. Our kid has gotten 5 COVID tests over the past 2 yrs as the daycare wouldn't accept him back w/o a negative test or 14 days isolation. We're pretty comfortable with the safety protocols at our expensive but walking distance daycare.

@thisisandrewc I will say tho, props to single parents out there. It is unfathomable to me how they do it. I at least have a partner who actively parents and it's STILL so very hard at times.

@thisisandrewc I must be missing some context as I don't see sending my kid to daycare as "condemning" him. In fact, he thrives there. We also are raising him w/o any relatives living with us & yes, get burnt out as we also have to work. I was way more exhausted when I was on leave.

@AllanaHarkin I swear by oil of oregano. Couple of drops chased by beverage of choice b4 each meal. You'll burp an Italian restaurant for a bit, but the cough will disappear in a couple of days.

@jean_yoon @breakfasttv I read the whole Reddit post. Pool owner (female) mainly had problems w/ the teen boys who just showed up w/o asking w/ their friends while the owner was having adult parties (ie. drinking, bikinis etc.) She liked & didn't mind the young girl. Mom wasn't doing anything.
