We travelled across Lagos to meet @DrFolaseye concerning our daughter. The whole process was done very orderly. This suggery could have cost us over a million Naira, but she's helping families for free. A good leader. Selfless and kind.
@ChelseaFC Sánchez has had enough chances—his legs keep costing us points when teams press late. If Alonso wants an upgrade after pre-season, triggering Orlando Gill's £5.5m clause is a zero-risk no-brainer. Left-footed, 6'6", and dominated the World Cup. Bring him in! 🇵🇾🔵

I received a phone call from Mr Peter Obi and am deeply grateful for the words of encouragement from His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi, in appreciation of our 65 Free Adenotonsillectomy and ENT Surgery Initiative, organized to mark his birthday and give back to our country, Nigeria.
As of today, we have screened over 50 patients, categorizing them into surgical and non-surgical cases while also managing other medical conditions where necessary.
What has been particularly inspiring is that beneficiaries have come not only from different parts of Lagos but also from Benin, Awka, Enugu, and Owerri. This reminds us that disease knows no boundaries, and quality healthcare should be accessible to everyone, regardless of where they live.
Surgeries for the selected patients will commence this week, and beneficiaries will be contacted through the phone number previously used to reach them.
Tomorrow is the final day of the free screening, which ends at 4:00 p.m.
📍 Venue: Infirmorium Catholic Hospital, No. 1 Olufemi Street, off Ogunlana Drive, Surulere, Lagos.
My sincere appreciation to everyone who has supported this initiative. Together, we are restoring health and giving hope, one patient at a time.

In 1992, Governor Michael Otedola of Lagos signed a controversial PR contract with a communications consultancy firm reported to be worth ₦400 million.
The governor's spokesperson, Sina Ogunbambo, said the objective of the campaign was not to launder the image of the state government as rumoured, but to make people "sympathise with the government so as to promote loyalty and understanding."
According to Citizen's report, the state's House of Assembly denied knowledge of the ₦400 million deal and ordered a legislative investigation.
A lawmaker, Niyi Fabikun, noted that the contract's value represented 10% of the state's revenue allocation.
Another lawmaker, F.O.A. Arebi, said it was insensitive at a time when thousands of school pupils could not sit for the last promotions exam due to the state's financial constraints.
But the governor's spokesperson dismissed the controversy. "We will continue to use reputable external communications consultants," he said.

Heartwarming moment university students came together to surprise a lecturer who has played a motherly role in their lives with lots of gifts. Before the surprise, one of the students pranked her by pretending to fall, prompting the lecturer to rush over to help, unaware that a special celebration was waiting for her✨♥️

“It’s obvious that President Tinubu knows very well and doesn’t mind that people pay money to his principal staff to get appointments and to get access. So it’s del credere government. It’s a clearing and forwarding government. The Senate does not exist because the Senate President is the Senior Special Assistant to the President of Nigeria on Comedy, MC and Ceremonial openings. The senate has lost its leadership. There is a decapitation of the Senate”
